THE ULTIMATE WHITSUNDAYS FISHING CHARTER EXPERIENCE
Our charters cater to everyone — from solo fishers and couples joining a shared trip to private groups like corporate teams, families, bucks/hens parties, or mates on a getaway. Kids 12 and under must wear a lifejacket while onboard.
Not at all! We welcome complete beginners and seasoned anglers. Our friendly crew is here to guide you every step of the way.
We run both Private and Shared Charters, available as:
• Half Day (5 hours)
• Full Day (8 hours)
Shared charters require a minimum of 5 guests to proceed. All trips depart from Cape Gloucester Resort or Airlie Beach, and are tailored to suit weather and fishing conditions.
Every charter includes:
- Quality bait and tackle
- All fishing rods, reels, and gear
- Bottled water and light snacks
- Iced esky
- Catch cleaned, filleted, and packed on ice
- Onboard toilet and amenities
- Access to a hot plate on board (full day charters only)
- Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
- Comfortable sun-safe clothing and footwear
- Your own lunch and any extra snacks
- BYO lunch and snacks (light snacks provided)
- BYO alcohol (cans only)
No need to bring an esky — we’ve got that covered.

All legal catches are cleaned, filleted, and packed on ice to take home. Bag limits apply under Queensland Fisheries regulations.
We don’t operate in unsafe conditions such as high winds, rough seas, or storms. You’ll receive confirmation 24 hours before departure based on the latest marine forecast.
All trips are operated by a licensed commercial skipper, assisted by an experienced deckhand—both with extensive local knowledge of Whitsundays fishing grounds.
We provide light snacks and bottled water on all charters.
Guests are welcome to BYO lunch and additional snacks, especially if you feel light snacks won’t be sufficient for your day.
For full day charters, there’s access to a hot plate onboard—perfect if you’d like to bring sausages or something to cook during your trip.
We fish the Whitsunday Islands, inner and outer reefs, and parts of the Great Barrier Reef, with locations chosen based on weather and fish activity.
Razorfish is based in Airlie Beach, but we can travel to areas like Bowen or Mackay for an additional towing fee. Night charters to the reef or islands are also available on request.
We operate on demand, year-round, and weather permitting. Early bookings are recommended to secure your preferred date.
Razorfish Whitsundays Fishing Charters delivers a relaxed, personalised experience with expert local crew, premium gear, and a fast, stable offshore vessel.
Our 7.5m Sailfish Catamaran reaches up to 40 knots with twin 200hp Mercury outboards, getting you to the fish quickly. It seats up to 8 comfortably, with an open, dry deck built for serious fishing.
Whether you’re chasing reef species or just out for a great day, we tailor every trip to suit your group.
We use reliable, well-maintained gear from trusted brands including Jarvis Walker — ideal for targeting both reef and pelagic species.
