Razorfish is a fast, comfortable, and purpose-built 7.5m Sailfish Commercial Catamaran, designed for private and shared fishing charters in the stunning waters of the Whitsundays. Powered by twin 200hp Mercury outboards, the vessel reaches speeds of up to 40 knots, getting you to the fish faster with a smooth, stable ride.
We accommodate up to 6 guests, plus a professional skipper and deckhand, with spacious seating, open deck space for fishing, and all the features needed for a productive and enjoyable day on the water – whether you’re an experienced angler or giving fishing a go for the first time.

About the Skipper – Meet Kris
Passionate about fishing. Focused on your experience. Committed to the catch.
Kris, owner and skipper of Razorfish Whitsundays Fishing Charters, has spent years fishing the east coast of Australia and brings a deep passion for sharing that experience with others. His goal is simple: to give every guest – whether a complete beginner or a seasoned angler – the best possible day on the water.
With decades of boating and fishing experience, Kris has owned multiple vessels and skippered larger offshore boats. His extensive knowledge of local waters, tides, and fish behaviour means you’ll be in expert hands. Most importantly, safety and comfort always come first.
Kris loves helping people land that dream fish – whether it’s your first catch or a personal best. He caters to all ages and skill levels, from families and seniors to corporate teams and groups of mates heading out for a day or overnight trip.
The Whitsundays offer fantastic fishing year-round, with species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Nannygai, Tuskfish, Mackerel, and Tuna. The islands are especially productive for trolling lures and targeting both reef and pelagic species.
Kris and the Razorfish crew work hard to keep you on the fish, follow all Marine Park regulations, and ensure everyone leaves with a smile (and hopefully a few fillets). If you’ve got questions, feedback, or requests – we’re all ears.
